This is a list of resources I’ve found and used so far.
- Dapp University: Started with one, the guy makes quite a few bold statements and promises, like “How to become a blockchain developer”, explained a few concepts, but the boilerplate code provided was not explained properly, the video format was not for me. I hate using code snippets I don’t truly understand for security, debuging and a lot of other reasons. I hated to try to search for the spot in the video he discussed a specific concept or feature…. I stopped rather fast.
- Turotialpoints: as usual, it gives a basic introduction to the language structure & components. It’s aimed at novice developers, but still gave me an overview of solidity, but if you are familiar with software development, you will not face anything new
- Crypto Zombies: this was a great intro to solidity and the Ethereum platform, it gave a good insight to the basics of the language and blockchains concepts. Again, nothing surprising so far, but seeing the zombies evolve was a nice feature
- Ethernaut: after crypto zombies I found the concept of dev tutorials suits me best, as I wanted to see the concepts in action. Ethernaut started slow, but got into more advanced security issues and concepts of Ethereum.
- Capture the Ether: next gamified dev tutorial on the list, still have not gotten to it yet.
